Welcome to Victoria Playing Fields Football Club – VPFC.
We are a friendly and inclusive, FA-affiliated football club for primary school-age children, both girls and boys, from Reception to Year 6. Our training sessions are led by FA-trained coaches and take place on Saturday mornings, from 9:30-11:00am at three convenient locations in St Albans. Our focus is on improving ball skills, building confidence, fostering teamwork, and, most importantly, having fun! We run during school term times.
At VPFC, we prioritize inclusivity and skills development over league play. We play end-of-session games, and offer ad hoc friendly games and end-of-season tournaments but are not a member of a league and don’t play league fixtures. We have a “feeder club” relationship with St Albans Rangers to help those members who become interested in league football to take the next step in future.
Our club is run by volunteers and operates as a not-for-profit Unincorporated Association, with low subscriptions that only cover costs. All time and resources are reinvested in equipment, insurance, entry fees, and kit for the benefit of our players, parents, and community. All time given by coaches and office holders is voluntary; no salaries are paid.
